The Challenge
The organisation set out to improve how employees view and manage their benefits by rolling out a new benefits app on Workday across South Africa and other African regions. The rollout touched thousands of employees with different benefit structures, processes, and levels of familiarity with digital tools. With other changes happening simultaneously, there was a risk that employees would feel overwhelmed, limiting trust and uptake.
Our Approach
We partnered with the organisation to deliver a practical, people-centred change and communication approach. The focus was on explaining the benefits app in clear, everyday language, breaking information into simple messages, using consistent messaging across communication platforms, and providing clear guidance and support pathways for both employees and HR teams.
Measurable Outcome
Employees now have clearer visibility of their benefits along with a better understanding of how to make changes and where to find support. HR teams are more aligned and better equipped to guide employees through the experience. The project built trust and set the organisation up for long-term benefits platform adoption across multiple regions.
